How did Renee help Utah Valley Refugees 501(c)3 in 2023?
Renee and her team offered three classes:
Music Basics
Instrument Instruction
Ensemble Rehearsal
The summer camp closed with a benefit concert for Utah Valley Refugees where the summer camp participants performed with their instructors to show off what they'd learned.
This camp was funded by the
Laycock Endowment for Collaborative Arts.
What's next?
Renee Chiu Music initiated a partnership between Utah Valley Refugees 501(c)3 and students at the Brigham Young University School of Music.
Thus, music majors can work as music instructors at Utah Valley Refugees year-round.
